Lime Wash Painting

Lime wash gives a sun kissed, slightly aged stucco appearance to walls, furniture and floors. Emulating the look of mineral streaked walls, the old fashioned lime wash finish employed powdered lime mixed with water. Traditional lime wash was used on exteriors and helped prevent fungus and bugs! Today’s lime wash finishes incorporate non-toxic water based pigments to create old world European charm.
