What is the process?

Our first meeting is complimentary.  I will come to your home or
business to review your project.  Together, we will define your specific      needs, and I will share my ideas and take measurements.  Within ten      days, I will provide you with a written estimate.  Estimates vary based      on the detail, size and complexity of each project. Once I have your      signed approval and a deposit, I will make custom sample boards of      the finishes you chose.  At that time we will agree on a schedule for
your project.  The deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the      project.  The balance is due upon completion of the project.  NOTE: I      must have your bid approval and deposit on hand before I
provide your sample boards and schedule your work. Please call      me as soon as you have reached your decision so that there is no      delay in beginning your project.

How much of a deposit do you require?
Deposits can range from 25% to 50% of the total bid depending on the size of the project and the start date. The      deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the project.  The balance is due upon completion of the project.

Do Ineed to be home?
No. Most of my clients are at work or out of the house while I am painting. You will need to make arrangements for      children and pets to be away from the area where I am working.

How far do you travel?

My work can be found in some of the finest homes in the country. I am open to travel wherever required with
sufficient notice. Depending on the size of the project I may bring a crew, and cost is affected accordingly.

Payment Arrangements
We accept cash, personal checks, MasterCard or Visa.

Will we be able to sleep in the room where you are painting?
I use water based, acrylic paints and glazes that dry quickly.  If a glaze is used, drying times can be up to 8 hours,      but there is still very little, if any, odor. It is best, however not to touch or disturb the finishes until they are fully
“cured” for approximately 24 hours.  Some plaster products require a longer drying time and may have a slight
     odor.

How long does it take?
Each project is customized to your specifications. My goal is to create an exceptional work of art for you. Times
vary depending on the complexity and size of each project. A time estimate is provided with each proposal.

Do the walls need to be prepped for painting?
Yes. Any surface repairs (patching nail holes, removing wallpaper, etc.) must be done in advance. I can refer you      to several qualified house painters, wallpaper removal services and general contractors if necessary. The surface      may require base painting (have a primer coat of paint) before I arrive. Depending on the project, I will specify the      color and type of paint for any base coats.

Should we move furniture prior to work being started?
Yes. If possible, it is best to completely clear the room of furniture.  Furniture must be moved at least 6 feet away      from the surfaces being painted. I will protect all wall areas that are not being painted with tape and use drop
cloths to protect your floors and furnishings.

W
hat if I need to make changes?
Once the sample boards have been made, design or finish changes may require an additional charge.  Schedule      changes will be accommodated whenever possible.
