This steamer trunk came across the ocean from Ireland in the 1800’s. The owner tried to restore the badly damaged trunk with brown spray paint. She even painted the oak rails white! Linda was able to restore the trunk to its former glory, using faux finishes to give the tin sides a leather look and painting white rails a natural oak wood grain. The hardware was given a pewter finish along with “antique brass” corners and wrought iron bands.
